The Italian Association of Allergic Children – AIBA has been born!
The association was founded with the mission to improve the quality of life of children with allergies and their families through Science, Research, and Information.
Among our various objectives, we prioritize our patients by:
– promoting initiatives designed to improve the daily lives of our children and, consequently, their families;
– providing training courses for schools;
– installing cabinets containing life-saving medication in schools, restaurants, and sports centers;
– training restaurant and cafeteria staff on major food allergies;
– implementing allergy prevention measures.
We are also committed to engaging with local and national political institutions to secure regulations and procedures that safeguard patients and improve their quality of life:
– Meetings with authorities to raise awareness and advocate for the reimbursement of hypoallergenic formulas for children with Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy (CMPA)
– Requests for the provision of non-reimbursable medications (such as nasal sprays) for patients with chronic symptoms
Who can join?
Participation is open to anyone interested in carrying out the Association’s projects and who shares its spirit and ideals.
